Noticing the signs
Parents may notice their child isn't developing the same way as other children their age. They may start asking questions and looking for answers.
The parent quadrant
Parents navigate between Concerned Parent, Invalidators, Promoters, and Validators as they seek answers, support and professional guidance for their child.
The waiting period
Once a parent receives the right advice from a Validator, there is a period of assessments, potential diagnosis reports, and guidance on supports. This can all take time.
Support begins
Early Intervention becomes a part of daily life. The learning curve can be steep for parents, family, friends, and teachers. Echo Kids is here to support the village.
